As a young, accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of history's best selling artists. Her parents are originally from Barbados, and she started singing at a young age. Unhappy with the chaos in her family and conflicting with her parents she immersed herself in music, and eventually realized that she wanted to become a professional singer. When she was still in high school she joined a musical group, and was asked to audition for Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the ability of this girl. The girl was then moved into New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna quickly became a star after her debut release. Rihanna was loved by young people due to her lively, foot-tapping music. It led to her pursuing directing. Rihanna is a young and accomplished woman, who is now an icon of fashion and teenager icon.
