Najarra already knew her destiny at age of three. She began to model and perform in stage productions at her home. In her youth and teen years, Najarra was involved in a variety of stage and musical productions. In the movie "Menace" she was co-starring at age ten. Najarra received international recognition for her performance in "Me and You and Everybody We Know" in 2005, a film that was nominated for the Sundance and Cannes awards in 2005. The actress has appeared as the title role in a variety of films, such as: "Tru Loved", "Marin Blue", "Betty I am" and has appeared in various other indie favorites. In 2014, audiences got to witness a fresh side of Najarra's young star with"Contracted," the IFC Midnight horror hit "Contracted".
